If you are going to be attending the 2013 Wildfowl Art Classic, what better place to stay than the Doubletree? As you know we have held the PFDA Art Classic at the Doubletree for many years. Our costs depend on how many room nights we are able to pick up. Many members and non members call the Doubletree and book reservations for the show, but because they did not mention PFDA, they didn’t get the PFDAt rate for their room, and PFDA didn’t get credit for the room nights. We are accepting applications for the upcoming 43rd Annual Pacific Flyway Wildlife Art Classic, held in Sacramento on July 13th and 14th. Here’s how it works: We are offering new artists a 50% discount on their booth space. Plus the first $500.00 of sales is commission free. The Pacific Flyway Decoy Association was established in 1971 by a handful of carvers who sought to promote and preserve the North American tradition of hand-carved, wood decoys. They created the Wildfowl Art Festival to serve this purpose.

Let me take this opportunity to invite you to join one of the most unique and interesting organizations in the country. Whether your interests lie in carving, painting, decoy collecting, duck hunting or bird watching, this group is for you! As a non-profit organization, your active participation is encouraged. The more you contribute, the more rewarding and enjoyable it will be for you and everyone involved.
